ALEX
Hello there! My name is Alex, and I am a Hispanic therapist here in San Antonio. I was born and raised in Austin, Texas before moving to San Antonio in 2019. My goal is to become an outlet for you, where you may speak candidly and free from judgement.
I use a person-centered approach in my counseling, so that you may find comfort and clarity in our sessions. I believe that using your personal abilities and strengths will allow us to work as a team to find what it is that you are seeking here in counseling and how we can get you to reach that goal. I will serve as an active listener in our sessions to ensure that I can honor your voice and needs as we work together.
I recognize that there are experiences that I may never be able to understand on the level in which you experience them. I will do everything I can as a helper here to ensure that you are comfortable in my sessions and provide you the resources that you need. My role is to serve you to the best of my abilities and understand you from your perspective separate from my own. I promise to do my part to provide for you.
I love to lean into creativity and empathy in my sessions so that I may foster a comfortable space for you to speak in. I am willing to make changes to my sessions to adjust to your comfort, and please feel free to speak with me about anything that may make you hesitant or uncomfortable to working with me. I am here for you and invite the conversation.
I am happy to work with youth, young adults, and adults. I look forward to working with you to adjust to changes, advocate for your needs, dissect complications, and making challenging discussions become approachable. Here's to healing!
