Jaz Burgess is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Dr. Tanisha Guy, LPC-S. With over a decade of experience working in higher education, Jaz brings her life-coaching expertise and passion for helping millennials create lives they don’t want to escape from.
Jaz focuses her interventions on optimizing self-exploration and emotional regulation through the integration of yoga and mindfulness techniques. Jaz is deeply passionate about facilitating the healing processes through accessible mindful movement and relaxation practices.
By creating safe spaces for holistic health, she intends to bridge the gap between mental health and yoga for people of color by promoting stress reduction and addressing emotional hygiene imbalances.
Jaz supports clients 18+ with life transitions, grief, anxiety, and spiritual exploration by reintegrating the mind, body and spirit through a person centered, holistic approach.
